Prayers Electric

Jem Evans and Farris Batley-Moss make songs that begin with tight, groove-led hooks and end somewhere louder, stranger and less controlled. Prayers Electric build around tension and release: catchy choruses, shouted refrains and a live set that gathers weight as it moves.

Built as a genuine two-piece rather than a reduced version of a larger band, they favour immediacy, handmade ideas and the rough edges that make a room feel involved. Recent single Eyeballs and the Going Round Again EP turn work, performance, escape and reckless coping into sharp, restless songs made to be played loud.
